Celebrating Christmas with Josie's Family
Early 2009:
- Joseph joined the Army Jan. 6, 2009. He joined at Spokane Washington.
- The Colton’s moved into their new home
- Adam, Tiff’s husband, did his school internship in Hong Kong
- Trisha, Cindy and Heidi went to Phoenix for a few days to enjoy “sista time” with Tiffany. Jason, Dan and I “held down the fort” with the kids
- We worked to give mom a new tile floor in her kitchen. R.Buron did most of the work and the siblings chipped in money.
- Dan and I went back to see Joseph graduate from basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia then went on to enjoy a Caribbean Cruise!! We went to the Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Martin and St. Johns.
- Tiffany changed jobs. Instead of new homes she does forclosures and resales.
- Joseph began competing in marshal arts in the army
- For Easter all 25 in our clan went to Wheeler Farm to celebrate!
Middle 2009
- Dan and I are ma and pa on a 4 day pioneer trek complete with handcarts. It was a great experience but I was glad it wasn’t longer than it was!
- Trisha and Darrin remodeled and opened their Ogden Beauty Salon
- Annual Tews Memorial Day outing. We enjoyed Joseph’s visit
- Dan ran in the 188 mile Wasatch Back Relay
- I spoke with Kerri and Angie at Utah State Mental Hospital
- Jason received his MBA degree
- Dan took the scouts to Lake Powell and Escalante
- Dan and I enjoyed a fishing weekend with my friend, Darla, and her husband Doug.
- I got to visit my cousins Jackie and Janae (it has been 20 years or so)
- We went to R.Burton’s place in Idaho for the 24th again. Fun!
- We had our annual family retreat at Moon Lake in July this year. We rented 4 cabins. It was great fun!
- The girls and I continued having our monthly temple outing. Fun
- I was on KSL Television because we were the victims of mail fraud!
- Dan took the scouts to Spirit Lake for a campout and was hailen on..
- Trisha remodeled our house. She created a forest room, a sailor room and a kids room! Great job Trisha!
- Patricia was in a 5 K walk during the family visit to see Burton on the 24th of July
Late 2009
- Dan ran a half-marathon again in Logan with his running companion Ron Houseon. He took 5th in his age division!
- Twice a year the girls and I get together for a scrapbook retreat at Heidi’s house complete with manicures!
- Dan and I enjoyed a weekend in St. George visiting with the Pitts and the Tews. It even included rowing at a local (and muddy) lake!
- Dan and I had fun on a weekend away with Doug and Darla. The guys went fishing on Jordanelle in Doug’s boat
- Kezia Triana was born at home with the midwives, Jason, Patricia, Cindy, Trisha and I helped! I got to stay and help for about a week after she was born.
- Born October 26th at 9:34pm
-8 lbs 4 oz
-20.5 inches long (just like her sisters!)
-Born at home
- Joseph visited for 4 days and got to meet little Kezia
- We had new windows installed in our home
- I completed my audio book for MY JOURNEY FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
- Trisha got pregnant with her first
- We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. Mom, Dad, Cindy and Richard came.
