24. missionaries came to dinner last night so did Bonnie and Michael. It was a lot of fun

DAN

1. Joseph and Dan got an app on their phones so they could play scrabble together.  We also talked about the upcoming cruise with my Mom to Alaska.
12. Dan and I enjoyed going to Red Lobster with Gary, Liz, Kerri and Brad.  Gary, a SLCC professor takes us out to thank us for speaking in his classes
13. Dan had his tooth extracted. OUCH!!

PATRICIA

4. It was my turn to be in charge of our date last night.  I decided on an ABC date.  We began at Applebees (for the letter A) for dinner.  Next I had an envelope with the rest of the alphabet on small pieces of paper.  Each of us drew out 5 letters. We then had 10 minutes at the dollar store to find 5 fun things we could play with that had our letters in it (example: H- humpty dumpty puzzle, O- HarmOnica, P- a toP  etc.)   It turned out to be  a fun, inexpensive date! :)

8- I backed into John merchant car when I left to take Allie to the mall for her birthday shopping:-(

9- I picked up Bonnie after I had gone to the dentist and we went to anna Lou, my visiting teaching partner.

     .    .  she has so many problems and is so discouraged and looking bad she's having trouble with your liver and so many other things. I pray that the Lord will bless her and help her at this time in the care center.

10. I am so thankful that my mouth/teeth feel alright even after my dentist visit with a root canal yesterday.  Today I tried to go to the temple with Margaret but I discovered that I had lost my recommend!  The rest of the day I was very sick.  I was vomiting, horrible neck pain and head pain.

11. Starting to get better...still weak.

15. I went to Cindy's and we worked on some of her school work.  It was fun to be with her.

8. Kalli

Came to our house for her birthday sleepover. We went to the mall and had a lot of fun. she got an amazing sale on an awesome pair of jeans, she also got a shirt and some boots. The hard part of the night was when I accidentally ran into our neighbors car parked on our driveway.

In The morning we had a wonderful breakfast Joseph made.

10. Tiarra got her braces.  Mike finishedmost of his kitchen.

HEIDI

The kids got back into school and they have been taking tumbling.  Their family experienced another miracle when they were able to sale a peice of proerty they have been tring to sale for a long time.  Thanks Father. 

TIFFANY

I love it when Tiffany calls to say hello.  Sounds like all is well in Minnesota.

TRISHA

3. I enjoyed having Trisha fix my hair and having lunch with her and the boys.

8. Shopping with Trisha.  You should have seen us toting 4 charts and 2 little boys.  She continues to give service to more than a hundred people as she helps us with our ad matches.  Spencer plays peek a boo.  It is so fun!
9. Tricia and I did some shopping at Costco and had lunch there. It is so much fun to see the boys as well as Trisha

10. A MIRACLE ON THE FREEWAY. Trisha and her family went to spend a night with Patty Ann and her family in Zermont near Park City.  The weather was horrible.  Trisha and Darrin had a terrible time in the snow.  They got stuck several times on the side of the freeway!  They pushed and prayed and finally 3 big snow removal trucks came by and cleared the way.  Trisha said it was nothing short of a miracle!!

14. the missionaries came to dinner last night Michael call came to and so did Bonnie.

15 Trisha and I went shopping and had our first mini-lesson about photography

JOSEPH

5. Joseph rented a cello so he can take lessons from Jan - March

8. great job on the fantastic stroganoff for dinner with John merchant. thank you also for your help with day

 car parts when I accidentally back into Johns car !

12- Shelisa came up to go ice fishing with Joseph. they didn't catch fish but they have a lot of fun!

15. Joseph started school again on the 15th.  He is taking aviation, algebra and cello
16. Lately Joseph has been making us wonderful, hot omelets for breakfast! Yum!

FAMILY

Josie and her family stopped by for a gift exchange and candle lighting today.

20. The most amazing, wonderful, incredible miracle in the history of our family happened tonight.  Dan and I went to pick up Heidi and Jason from the airport and we were astonished to discover that baby Link was with Jason and Heidi!!!!!!!  THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER.  Heidi said that he was in the top 5 babies for recovering for that kind of surgery.  I AM SOOOO INCREDIBLY GRATEUL!!!!!!!!!

20  5 of the young women in or area surprised us by coming to our door singing Christmas Carols!

20  Josie came by to help clean up and get ready for change and Heidi to come!

22. The Bean party to celebrate Dan's king of the beans health accomplishment.  I was sick.  Joseph, Dan and Jason had to take over with the Café Rio cooking.

24_ we went over to tews for Christmas Eve celebration. most of the family was there. This year we got together at 330. afterwards we came back home for pajamas and the night before Christmas

25. We enjoyed watching Heidi and Family opening gifts.  By 2:30 the others gathered. Mom and Cindy Todd enjoyed visiting.  Richard came too.  Many loving gifts.

26. We went to the movies with the Edwards.  It was Les Miserable.  It was truly fantastic

27. Divit had surgery on her other ear.

27. Dan and I went to help Mom put away Christmas things before her trip down south.  Afterwards she took us to dinner at Applebees and to see Donny and Marie Osmond.  Cindy Todd came along too!!

28- Canon I enjoyed our weekend away. we went to the parish place bed and breakfast. it was built in the 18 hundreds. we went to dinner in sugar house at the fireman's barbecue. saturday morning we check out and went to devinchi display. it was fascinating to see how many things he learned about and t taught the world about. we then went to the car wash and over to a Chinese restaurant for lunch. Tricia gave us a basket for a weekend away and it was great.

31  dan shared in Sunday school his favorite parts of the book of Mormon. He shared about nephis psalm and modish 3:19.

17. Cindy and Trisha and I joined mom at Zupas to celebrate her 83rd birthday.  Fun!

18. Darla and her grandaughters came to visit for a while.  Mia came to play with Kezia also

19. discouraging day at the dentist. I had quite a few cavities.  It turned out to be a root canal and I was very sick the next day

20-21 Sick in bed with the flu

31- hard day. Headache and urine infection

23. Heidi and Jason took the girls to temple square.  Afterwards Trisha had them over for hot chocolate and cookies!! Yum!!
26. Heidi headed back to Richield tonight.  They will return to Cedar City on the 27th

27. When they got to Cedar City they found Heidi's visiting teacher there cleaning her kitchen floor.  Sisters brought in groceries, their friends had put together the swing set in the basement and they gave her dinner at night.  Heidi said she could hardly stop crying after such love, generosity and service. 

28. Kezi had a cough so Cindy took her to the doctors.  Heidi also had a fatty tumor removed from her arm.

Family

. We went to the ward Christmas party

2. Tonight was the Family dinner and we also decorated for Christmas. Tews, Edwards, Simons and our family with the girls were all there!  We enjoyed the candle lighting at night. Later we did hot tubing. At night I sighed loudly when I looked at all the decorations and the house still to straighten up then stopped to pray for strength on the morrow.

14. Dan and I enjoyed going to dinner at Gardner Village with Doug and Darla

4. Today has been a tough day.  From Ireland's shoes to the energy it takes to shop and clean.  I have a new appreciation for my daughters.

This Christmas season began

With the birth of one  baby boy, our grandson.

Within hours of his birth his blood sugar dropped low

And thus began a journey filled with

Doctors, nurses, poking, prodding, NICU and tests...an ambulance…

After two weeks there was a life flight across the country

From Utah to Philadelphia…

So many people... fasting and praying for one baby boy.

The surgery was successful

now we await his recovery

So we can be reunited

With our one baby boy

And we think of another baby boy

11. It was fun to celebrate Margaret's birthday during our morning walk at the mall.

13. I enjoyed going to the book club Christmas party. Dan watched the kids.

3. McKinley started 1st grade with Mrs. Forsythe at our school.  She was very kind and had many things made for McKinley to start today!  Ireland started with Miss Wright who was also very friendly and welcoming!

        Ireland, Kezia and I enjoyed spending some time at Margarets place and she made us lunch.

10. Painting projects with the girls.  At night while I did the shopping Grandpa took the kids hot tubbing and later they did a beading project.
11. Today we went to visit Santa Clause and the girls got to go to their aunts to make Toffee!
12. We did hot tubing today and of course they loved it when their mom and dad sang them their songs and read them stories.  Link is taking about 20 ounces of mothers milk.  Their goal is 90 before the can do the blood-sugar test

Mike's car stopped working on their date so we rescued them!

10. I took Tiarra out for her birthday.  We went to Barnes and Noble then out to IHOP :)

9. The snow was so deep that school was cancelled and so was church!!  Tiff said it was a foot dee!

14. I had a pretty rough night so Trisha came to our house for  about 4 hours so I could sleep.  While here she watched the kids, cleaned house and helped me go through my clothes!  She also did an inventory on the pajamas for Christmas!! What an angel!
15. They have had 3 or 4 showings of their house!

13. While working on a repair Joseph had the screwdriver go right down into his hand.  It was all swollen up and yucky looking
